Every year I glut myself on horror movies for Halloween, and while I don't usually hew to any specific genre, time period, or subject, I have found in recent years that tearing down a single staid franchise of many films is infinitely rewarding. Freddy, Jason, Micheal Myers, Leatherface, Pinhead, have all been conquered in this fashion.
After
careful consideration, I have decided that my franchise of choice this
Halloween season will be The Howling. Clocking in at 8 films, most of
which I have not seen, this series should be fun and monstrously stupid.
I hope you'll all join me as I write-up and recap each film from now until, well, I'm done.
